Directions
Take rt 2 west until you hit the rotary in Concord. Take your second right in the rotary onto Rt 2A/119. Follow for 1/4 mile, Acton indoor is on the left. If you reach the mobil gas station on the left you have gone too far.
Exit 11B (Rte 203) off I-93 Take a left at the second traffic light (Rte 203/Gallivan Blvd) Drive for about 5 miles and take a right on Blue Hill Avenue (at that traffic light, there will be a Police station and a Mobil gas station). Drive on Blue Hill Avenue for about a mile and at the 5th set of traffic lights turn right onto Talbot Avenue and the field will be on your right (1/4 mile).From the North
Take I93 south to Columbia St.
Follow Columbia St west until it intersects Blue Hills Ave.
Take Left onto Blue hills Parkway South.
Follow until Talbot Ave. intersection.
Take a Left on Talbot Ave.
Field will be on the right 1/4 mile.
From the South
US-1 N/I-93 N/MA-3 N.
Merge onto WILLARD ST. 0.0
Stay straight to go onto GRANITE AVE. 0.5
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto ADAMS ST. 1.7
Turn LEFT onto WASHINGTON ST. 0.2
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto MORTON ST. 0.6
MORTON ST becomes MORTON ST/MA-203. 0.7
Take right onto Blue Hills ave.
Take a right onto Talbot Ave.
Field will be on Right 1/4 mile
From the West:
Take Rt 2 east to cambridge. When the road narrows at alewife station stay right. Follow Rt 2 to the first Rotary and take second right out of the rotary staying on Rt2. You will come to a second rotary, follow it to the right staying on Rt2. At the next set of light take a right onto Huron Ave. Go through the next set of lights staying to the right. Glacken field will be on the right about 300 yards after the lights.
From the East:
Take 93 north to the mass pike. Get off at the Cambridge sturrow drive exit and take a left onto sturrow drive west. At the first intersection stay right onto Rt2 cambridge. As you go around the curve fork left. At the 4th set of lights take a left onto Huron Ave. Go through the next set of lights staying to the right. Glacken field will be on the right about 300 yards after the lights.
Danehy Park, Cambridge MA
Take Rt 2 east to cambridge. When the road narrows at alewife station stay right. Go through two sets of lights and at the third take a right. Dunkin Donuts will be on your left after you make the turn. Follow this road around the building and back under the parkway to the stop sign. Directly ahead of you will be the movie theatre and behind it to the right will be parking for the park.
From sturrow drive follow signs for Rt 2 west/alewife brook parkway. After going through both rotaries stay in the right lane. At the set of lights in front of Bread and Circus take a right into the parking lot. Once in the parking lot take a left and follow to the end of the parking lot. Take a right at Staples and directly ahead of you will be the movie theatre and behind it to the right will be parking for the park.
Fernald field is located at fernald school on trapello rd.
From the west or Boston travel to Route 128 South from RT. 2 or North from Mass Pike. Exit at the Trapello Rd. exit and travel east through the lights and approximately 1.5 miles. Field and school will be on your right. If you get to the intersection with RT 60 you have gone too far.
From the North
Take I93 south to Columbia St.
Follow Columbia St west until it intersects Blue Hills Ave.
Take Left onto Blue hills Parkway South.
Follow until Morton St intersection.
Take a Left on Morton St. (Mobile station)
Follow to Norfolk St and Take a right. (walgreens)
The field is on the Blue Hill Ave end of Norflok St.
From Cambridge
Pass over the Mass Ave bridge into boston
Continue on Mass Ave for 1.2 miles
Take Right onto Harrison Ave.
After 1/2 mile bear left onto Warren St.
drive 1.3 miles and Bear right onto Blue Hills Ave
drive 2 miles and turn left onto Morton st.(Mobile station)
Turn right onto Norflolk St (walgreens)
Field is on left
From the South
US-1 N/I-93 N/MA-3 N.
Merge onto WILLARD ST. 0.0
Stay straight to go onto GRANITE AVE. 0.5
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto ADAMS ST. 1.7
Turn LEFT onto WASHINGTON ST. 0.2
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto MORTON ST. 0.6
MORTON ST becomes MORTON ST/MA-203. 0.7
Take left onto Norfolk St.
Field will be on Left.
Wayland Middle School Wayland MA
From Boston and Cambridge Using Route 30
Take the Mass Turnpike to the exit for Rts128 and 30.
Follow the signs for Rt. 30 West.
Travel 4.9 miles on Route 30 West to a fork in the road.
(Mobil station on the left and Mel’s Plaza on the right)
Stay to the right at the fork (getting off of Route 30).
Continue another half a mile to the traffic light at Route 27 (Finnerty’s country Squire is immediately in front of you)
Make a right onto Route 27 at the light.
Wayland Middle School is on the right after approximately 0.2 miles at the bottom of a hill.
Using Route 20 (Alternative Route)
Take the Mass Turnpike to 128/95 North
Exit 128 at Route 20 heading West (exit 26).
At the top of the exit ramp follow the signs around the Rotary to Weston/Wayland/Marlboro Route 20 West.
Follow Rt. 20 West approximately 4.9 miles to the traffic light at Wayland center at the junction of Routes 20, 126 and 27.
Go left at the traffic light onto Route 27.
Follow Route 27 for 2.7 miles, going through one additional traffic light.
Go straight, don’t bear left. Wayland Middle School is on the left.
Wayland High School(Bennet Field), Wayland MA
Via Mass Pike (best route from Boston/Cambridge, from South/Southwest of Boston):
Mass Pike West to Exit 13 (5 mi. West of Route 128); bear right after exit (follow signs to Route 30 West to Framingham); Turn right at first light, immediately after getting off ramp (Burr St.); bear right at the curve and proceed to the intersection with Speen Street. Turn left at the light onto Speen Street. Turn right at the end of Speen Street onto Old Connecticut Path; OldCt. Path will merge with Route 126; travel North on Old Ct. Path/Route 126 about 2 miles; Wayland HS is on the left.
Via Route 128 (best route from North/Northwest of Boston):
Exit off of Route 128 at Exit 26. Take Route 20 west across Weston. Right after entering Wayland, turn left onto Old Connecticut Path (just before JC Hillary’s). Follow Old Ct. Path (about 1 ½ mi.) to the intersection with Routes 27 and 126 (the first light). Go straight at the light onto Route 126 South. Wayland HS is about ½ mile down on the right.
The field is behind the high school in back of where they park the buses. You have to walk up a dirt road to get to the field
Charles River United Park, East Street, Hopkinton, MA
(Directions from US Interstate Route 90, The Masachusetts Turnpike)
Exit the Massachusetts Turnpike at Route 495, Exit 11A. Go south on Route 495. Take Exit 21A, West Main Street, and go east toward Hopkinton, Massachusetts. West Main Street merges into Route 135.
Continue east on Route 135 through Hopkinton Center. About one mile east of Hopkinton turn right onto Clinton Street. Continue through the first set of stop signs and turn left at the second intersection onto East Street.
Take the first left turn past the YMCA buildings. Continue down this drive into the Metro-West YMCA Outdoor Center. At the end of the paved road turn right down a dirt road to CRU
From I 93 South:
Take I 93 South to Route 3A South (exit 12). From there, continue on Route 3A South for about 2-3 miles passing Merrymount Park and Mount Wollaston Cemetery and eventually taking a left onto Silver Street, then Shea Street and then an immediate left onto Mound Street. The field is down on the right beside the ocean. Also, good directions are available on Mapquest.com if you put Mound Street in as the destination address.
Walsh Field, Framingham
Directions to Walsh Middle School, Framingham
From the Mass Pike, take Exit 13 (Framingham) and get onto Route 30 west.
Stay on 30 until it merges with Route 9. Stay on Route 9 through the first
set of lights (Walgreen’s on your right), then bear right to get off Route
9 before the overpass. At the lights, turn right onto Edgell Road. Go about
1.2 miles, then make a right turn onto Brook Street. Walsh Middle School is
a quarter mile down on the left.
